Well I finally decided it was time to get my LST yesterday (about 2:00PM my time).. called up the Historical society gave them my $20 and they gave me the option of mailing a printed copy or they could email it to me.. I figure email it to me as I can print as well as they can.. this morning when I got to my computer I found a nice email from the historical society.. I HAVE MY LST in less than 24 hours WOOHOO..

Now after reading my LST I found that I don't have a 62 Scout 80.. I have a 61 (well at least it was built in 61 with a final inspection date of 10/10/1961). I am ok with that I like old HEHE..

got the bumpers off this morning and more cleaning is being done on the frame.. what has everyone done to clean out the inside of the frame rails? what is the trick? I don't want to have this thing rusting from the inside of the framerails out.

Once again after a Hiatus due to repairing my Jeep (I swear every 6 months I decide to break something that takes it out of commission for a few months). I had a couple friends come over today and help me pull the axles and Tranny and Tcase off the frame. Now the only thing on the frame is a couple of bumpers.. my plan for the next couple of weeks is to get the Frame cleaned and painted then get the rear axle cleaned up (Springs cleaned and greased, new bushings, Seals, Brakes, new shocks, etc).. Finnally it will look like something is getting done
